The Captiva is a fully air conditioned magnificent 5 bedroom and 5½ bathroom vacation home located in the quiet gated community of only 58 homes at West Haven, The Abbey.  It is just six miles away from the ‘Disney ramp’ on Interstate 4, 15 minutes to Sea World and 25 minutes to Universal Studios.  It is only five minutes away from the Champions Gate Golf Complex with two Championship Courses designed by Greg Norman as well as the David Leadbetter Gold Academy.  There are six other golf courses within easy reach and the standard of the courses is excellent.  The beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast are only a little over an hour’s drive.  There is a large Publix supermarket, a drug store and five restaurants beside Champions Gate Village about one and a half miles away which does take-away delivery including the new French Le Crepe!

Captiva has been licensed to accommodate up to 12 people and is ideal for a large family or two families, or friends sharing. The property has a large pool and high powered spa that overlooks a natural wetland wildlife conservation area. Privacy during your stay has been enhanced by conifers on either side of the home.

Captiva has been equipped with upgrade furniture to give total comfort. The property has two master suites with queen beds, another with a double bed and two twin rooms (one with a Disney theme) and two further shower/bathrooms.

The main lounge area is bright and airy and benefits from the openness associated with a very high ceiling with entertainment such as TV/DVD player and Stereo/CD player as well as a pullout sleeper sofa. There is a separate utility room with washer and dryer, which also has a through door to and from the double garage.  The powder room is just off from the living room for your convenience.  For our little guests we have 2 high chairs.

The two master suites have cable TVs as does the main downstairs lounge. There is secondary lounge upstairs which is an ideal vantage point for looking out onto the wildlife. The view is idyllic late in the evenings and at dawn. There is also a pullout sofa bed and you can watch all this from the comfort of this sofa bed.

There is a 14’X 28’ pool (heating option depending on the season) which gets the sun from mid morning until evening. Patio furniture in the lanai provides an ideal breakfast or dining area overlooking the pool with high powered Spa (Jacuzzi) which can be lit at night to add that special atmosphere to your stay at the Captiva. For your convenience there is also a poolside bathroom with shower.  All doors leading to the pool area are alarmed to keep Kids SAFE.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast bar and stools and the dining room sits eight comfortably. A Home Alarm System (for Emergency) has been installed for your safety and convenience.

The game room is the perfect place to enjoy a bit of cost-free run after a long day at the parks.  With air hockey, foosball and dartboard you are sure to find hours of enjoyment here!
